Trip to Orlando

I am feeling kind of blah today, so I thought I would write about something FUN. Does that make sense?

Anyway, Ashleigh and I went down to Orlando on Sunday, so I thought I'd do a little blog post about it and share some pictures. We are big SeaWorld crazies, and go fairly often, but we hadn't been since the Christmas thingy in December, so this trip was long over due. However, it seems we did not pick the best day to go. Weekends are always going to be more crowded (our regular day used to be Friday; We would head down early in the morning and spend the day there while everyone else was still at work/school, before the weekend started.), but there seemed to be extra tourists there this day. They are also doing some renovations to re-open Dine with Shamu, so some things (such as the Shamu under water viewing area, where we can spend hours) were closed. Due to less than perfect conditions, we skipped out early and headed to Downtown Disney, which I had never been to before. It is not like a regular Disney park; there's no admission, or rides or attractions or anything like that. It's mostly restaurants and shops, but it was lots of fun to walk around and check them all out!

Another reason we wanted to go to SeaWorld this month is because, starting next month, they will be ending their regular Shamu show Believe, and starting a new one, which will be called One Ocean. We wanted to see Believe one more time before it ends. This is the redesigned stage for the new show.

                                                    Kayla (in front) and Katina.

Not sure who this is; I think maybe Nalani?

Triple jump! Malia, Kayla and Katina.

                                                   Good bye, forever, Believe. :(

                                                     He's looking right at you!

                                                                       Oh, hi!

Watching them interact with each other is so much fun.

This is not a very good quality picture, but I think it's really funny.

I just think this one looks cool. :)

This was a lady at Downtown Disney who was pretending to be a statue.

                                                     Yummy cupcake I got.

And this is where I got it.

A sea monster made of Legos!

                                                               Wonderful. <3

You can't really see it well, but what an awesome dress!

Despite some minor disappointments, it was still an excellent day. How can you not have fun at SeaWorld and Disney?!
